The mission of the Utah Parent Center (UPC or Center) is to help parents help their
children, youth and young adults with all disabilities to live included, productive lives as
members of the community.
We accomplish our mission by providing accurate information, empathetic peer support,
valuable training and effective advocacy based on the concept of “parents helping
parents”.

care.
South Valley Sanctuary's mission is a humanitarian effort to provide refuge, education
and support to all survivors of domestic violence. We provide individualized, survivorfocused
services that aim to empower men, women and children as they work towards
breaking the cycle of violence. We believe that engaging the community in critical
dialogue on the fight against domestic violence is crucial in creating and sustaining safe
homes, neighborhoods and communities.
